Born in Miami, Florida, I began drawing to occupy myself while recuperating from various medical procedures related to polio as a child. My interest in art led me down other avenues of creative expression as well. After high school I attended what is now the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. After school I worked in the greeting card industry, in commercial advertising and in illustration. I taught drawing and painting classes, and also worked for Mattel Toys for over 20 years, from 1972-1993, designing and arranging accessory development for the Barbie doll line. At present I do freelance commercial design and illustration, as well as fine art painting. I am available for commissions and private design projects. The art in these galleries represents a wide variety of my work, from traditional landscapes to more abstract styles.  Everything you see here is available for purchase. A portion of the sales from these paintings will go back to SOS Community Outreach, a non-profit organization seeking to aid and assist the poor and homeless in Malibu, California.
